Heather Honey

A good day again, but a bit more cloudy than yesterday .
The heather is just glorious up here in the fells at the moment and when you brush past it it smells faintly of honey. We followed such a poorly marked path today that we couldn't help walking all over it. I suspect it is pretty resilient though.
We walked up Raven Fell which gave spectacular views down Thirlmere, then on to Armboth, where I took this. You can see a small part of Thirlmere, it's a huge reservoir.
