Day 17

I determined not to lie around all day today so did half an hour in the gym at 9.30am following similar stuff to what I've done with the PT at home and even increased the hand weights to 8kg.

Then I participated in some fun aquarobics and did a sauna session. I went in the hot pool and the calming indoor dark floating pool before changing.

This afternoon we've had an amazing raw food demo from K and my taste buds have been opened to a raw 'chilli' made with carrots, walnuts, spring onion, red pepper, celery etc as a base and with the most delicious raw chilli sauce conjured up from rehydrated sun dried tomatoes, tomatoes, chilli, olive oil etc. Totally awesome.

Then we had a sample of courgette spaghetti with creamy (using avocado) garlic sauce which was also fabulous and finally a carrot stick with some vegan avocado/mustard mayo. Yum. Yum.

I am definitely going to try this food out at home and incorporate some raw food into my diet from now onwards.

I did lie around reading and relaxing this afternoon after all and plan to do yoga this evening and watch another documentary.
