In Basil's Drinking Water Bowl!

Bank Holiday Monday so of course it's poured with rain, putting a damper on Shepshed Carnival organised by Shepshed Lions in Glenmore Park. Nevertheless, it was well attended. 

Dingle Fingle the clown and his sidekick Slippery Sid put on a performance with their beatup classic car. The bangs frightened both young children and poor Basil who sought comfort from the three young people behind me. He was mollified by being given three dog biscuits in the tea tent.

I would have shown you Dingle Fingle, but what was quite remarkable later on was the sight of two small frogs in Basil's drinking water bowl outside in the garden. They have been returned to the pond. Basil has not drunk or eaten them.
