JVM my life

On the motor boat in Bovallstrand

We were invited early to Ulrika's parents house in Bovallstrand - what lovely people - and to meet her closest friends who she grew up with in Peru and now lived in America and Canada. Ulrika's dad has a small motor boat to navigate the archipelago of islands that dot the coast line of western Sweden. The scenery is absolutely stunning and we took the boat out for an hour to explore, we even got to see a seal. The Granite islands emerged from the water and it made me think this is what the peak district might look like it it became submerged.

A BBQ had been hastily organised for all those who had flown over and we spent the evening in very good company drinking Pisco Sours made by the Peruvian expert, drinking champagne brought over from Luxembourg and eating meat and fishy things - we eventually got back to our hotel about 1 am with the New Yorkers demanding "bolly and chips" which was obviously not forthcoming!!
