Florida waterways

On a recent trip to Florida to take my grandson to LEGOLAND, we took a side trip to experience an airboat ride.  You see airboats a lot in the Florida everglades with their huge fans on the back of the boat.  This was a swampy area with lots of exotic birds, alligators and plenty of unusual plants and flowers.
We zipped along the surface of the water on the boat and even went onto some of the grass and land.  It was amazing what that fan could do.  It was loud so we all had to wear ear protection.  My grandson loved it.  This photo was taken at the end of the ride as the sun was starting to set and the sky was reflecting in the water.
