Sunday Lunch

We were taken out to lunch today by a good friend of ours to this lovely restaurant. This was the prettiest spot for lunch in the old town of Weitra which dates back to the 13th century. Weitra is the oldest brewing town in Austria and there are 2 remaining breweries but there were 33 in its heyday back in the mid 17th century. 

We have had a return to summer over the last week and it was 34 degrees today. Here you can see Hubby enjoying a cold beer (non-alcoholic) with the Sgrafitto house in the background which also dates back to the 17th century.
