Midnight Train

A very early blip.  

After riding up the line during the evening we found ourselves boarding the midnight train in Tywyn.  Here is the train about to make the return journey, posing at Abergynolwyn at 0050am.

We had intended to return to the caravan just before midnight ... to get some sensible sleep.  It seemed like a lot of other folk had the same thought as the midnight train was much less crowded, making for an even more enchanting, moonlit journey.  

The whole experience was wonderful.  Lots of merry folk along the line during the busy evening session, the moon following us from above (see yesterdays extra) and a very special midnight ride.
