All is Revealed

Ruth's recent project put to it's intended use :-)

TR No 1, Talyllyn carries the Young Members Special headboard on the 1030 departure at the start of the Heart of Gold Weekend celebrations.  Two burly young men had just helped Ruth stand to place the headboard on the engine bracket.

Later in the day Ruth rode in the Guards Van of the Vintage Train from 550pm Saturday until 230am Sunday during the All Night Steam which is the highlight of the weekend.  All the evening trains were packed and a thoroughly good time was had by all, no more so perhaps, than when the moon came up over the hills around Nant Gwernol ravine at around 930pm - see extra.

The two photographers in shot are Jacinta, Ruth's mum and my mum, her grandmother :-)
