A Bee-utiful Late Summer Garden

Dear Diary,

Our spectacular August weather is continuing.  My sedum are in full bloom and the bees are delighted!  They are nearly bumping into each other in a frenzy to get all the pollen they can.  There are several bee species vying for the precious pollen but they seem to work it out.  To bad people aren't able to work so well together in sharing resources!

Spent a lovely night with my cousins catching up on all the news.  Which is why my post is a bit later today.  This afternoon I am off to visit friends who have an amazing pond on their property and I am hoping for some photographs of the many frogs that make the pond their home.  I'm a real social butterfly this weekend!
