Chillin' at the Pond

Dear Diary,

My friends Ken and Olga have a lovely pond at their summer house which is not far from mine.  It is always filled with frogs.  This one was just hangin' out at the edge in quite the relaxed state and had no problem with me making a photograph of him.

I've also included as my extra photograph a turtle on a log.  There were actually 9 of them sunning themselves on the same log.  They, unlike the frog, were a bit skittish about me getting too close. 

This pond is absolutely enchanting and it is a delight to visit and hang out with all the little creatures who call this place home; just the sound of an occasional bullfrog calling and the crickets chirping.  Pure heaven to me.
