A Camera Club day trip to Wingspan Bird of Prey Trust, Mamaku today. These Native New Zealand hawks, falcons, owls are birds that have been injured and bought in the Wingspan for rehabilitation, and most are released back into the wild when rehabilitated, if a bird is too injured to be released they become ambassador bird - educating the public and flying falconry shows at Wingspan, Wingspan is run by volunteers and is a charity and a well known Rotorua attraction.
