Floating Feather

While at Motutara Point this morning I noticed a  small fluffy delicate white feather floating on the surface of the calm water. This feather looked so delicate against the yellow marbled effect on the surface of the water. This marbled effect is sulphur that is stirred up from the bottom of the lake from the naturally occurring hot springs around Motutara Point. The Sulphur comes to the surface and gives a pretty marbled effect - mostly after lots of rain or stormy weather has stirred up the bottom of the lake. I thought the effect of feather against marbled background looked kind of abstract arty.
