Rosewood

I knitted the rib (welt) on a circular metal and nylon needle. Tough on the fingers - especially the pointy bits as you ease your stiches along into the position for knitting. After the rib you have to change up to a bigger needle so I had to go buy some. These were just one of the options - they're made of rosewood. Not only are they beautiful to look at but really comfortable to use.
The gansey now measures 25cms :-)
