Aurora Borealis over Inkula

A beautiful evening after a rainy day. We visited Leenamaija and her husband in the evening (their dog Nepsu in the extra #1). We had a very good time and it was late when we headed home. Quite a surprise when we first saw the northern sky through the windshield: the Aurora was so bright that you could easily see it while driving. I wasn't happy to realize that I had not taken the tripod with me! We first stopped to look at the moon reflecting on the water by the Inkula Bridge (in the extra #2 the old bridge shot from the new one) and then a few hundred metres ahead to shoot the Aurora. I managed to support the camera on the bridge railing and a telephone pole well enough to get a few decent shots (and many blurry ones).
