Hello Jersey

Me and Mum headed to Granville ferry port to catch the ferry over to Jersey. Its only meant to be an hour crossing, but today it took nearly 2 hours because the weather was so horrendous. I can honestly say it was the worst journey we have ever had. The boat was rocking and swaying and crashing against the waves. Everyone was getting sick, but luckily Me and Mum had taken sickness pills.

Once we arrived we were so upset that the weather was awful. It was windy and rainy so we decided that we should go shopping and then go to the Zoo as we didnt want to waste the day. We got some nice bits shopping and the Zoo was actually really good. We liked seeing the bears, gorillas and chimpanzees.

To our surprise it started to brighten up and the sun came out. So we made the most of it and headed to Bouley Bay, which is some where I had researched before coming here and heard it was beautiful.

It really was beautiful as you can see. We sat on the beach and climbed some of the rocks. Luckily we managed to watch the sunset too. We were so glad we got to see this place in the sun. After a drink in the pub we headed back to St. Helier which is where our hotel was based.

In St. Helier, We had the most beautiful dinner at a restaurant called Quayside. It was 10/10! Although this morning we thought the day would be awful, it was actually really fun and at least we got some sun and beach towards the end!
