I hate it..

..when the beach is this busy!!..

Payday today for the Development Officer, so did the wages. Then spent some time checking through the accounts, reconciling all the bank statements with my records. There's a couple of of Direct Debits that I tend to forget about!

Then checked over the remaining monies from the Gala day, we're due to have a meeting soon to discuss how it went, and what we can do to make it better next time (employ a better weatherman for starters!!).

Gone two by the time I'd finished, and I managed to miss the two showers we've had.

Then went down the beach slowly inspecting things as we went down through the croft. There are deer droppings scattered about, and paths through patches of long grass. The Oca trial I was doing has been trashed, plants chewed off, and some pulled totally out of the ground.

Pulled a few ragwort plants as we went, and put them in the bin by the beach. Then caught up with G and Tanni. Caught the tide just right. The far end is quite shallow, and level, and we can walk out 100 yards or so in our wellies spotting flounders and crabs as we go. And Tanni loves it in the water..

Pulled some more ragwort on the way back up, and then went around the top of the croft with some feed bags and pulled the rest. I had 7 bags last year, and only 2 this year, getting on top of it!.

Then went out with the new strimmer for an hour clearing our "morning walk" path..
