The G-word

Jess had an operation to remove the huge lump (about the size of half a tennis ball) on her side today.  Great news, it isn't cancer, instead, a reaction to a migrating grass seed!  Can you believe it?

Seemingly it might have been 'migrating' around her body for quite a while and was perhaps the cause of the unexplained sadness 6 weeks ago.  

So that is the first positive news today, I'm hoping for more when I go and visit my parents later.

For those following my journal, James arrived home in plenty of time last night but  little wobbly and has only just (12.30) emerged.  And, I don't know how much sleep Ben got last night at Reading, but the extra photo is one he took of his tent...!
