Bake Off

Now here's a photo I never thought I'd take and a sentence I never thought I''d write: this is our son, Chris, baking a cake.

He and his work colleagues have become Great British Bake Off fans (as are we) and yesterday they decided they were all going to have a go at baking a cake.

As you'll gather, Chris has never baked before so he came round after work and, under Tess's supervision, made Mary Berry's Lemon Drizzle Cake.

He did it all himself and it looks and smells really good. Just hope his workmates leave some for us.

Golf this morning was drier and better!
