A27 near Shoreham...from the Bridge of flowers

Robyn and I went to the Bridge of flowers this morning to pay our respects, it was very, very sad, but the floral tributes and cards were really beautiful, it reminded me of the day I spent in London with Charlii at Buckingham palace the day before Diana's funeral. There was a huge amount of media activity too, also reminiscent of that sad day in London 18 years ago.
Of the many shots I took today, I chose this shot of the A27, closed off....Mill Hill one of my favourite places behind. I liked the way that the sun was shining on just a little patch of the hillside, behind the crash site, despite the brooding grey clouds.....Now at this moment this is achingly painful, but it will get better, those who mourn will be comforted.
