Brodgar blue skies (Day 112)

My beautiful wife and I spent far too long standing outside late last night, watching a fabulous display of the northern lights. As always it is a treat to be able to see them from the bottom of our garden. This morning the late night took its toll and we both made a fairly slow start.
I wandered up the hill with the dogs under blue skies again and regretted having put a fleece on before I went out.
I trundled to town to pick up a new toy, and to do some other boring stuff before returning home and spending the rest of the morning playing with my new toy chopping logs with the new chainsaw.
HV and I went to Brodgar with the dogs for the afternoon walk. The skies were incredible.
Back home and I spent a bit more time playing with my new toy trimming some branches off some trees and cutting the bits into nice logs.
It has been a grand day.
