A New Term

I had an early morning assignation today as official photographer to three of the Edinburgh grandchildren as they made their way to school on the first day of the new term.
For Phoebe on the right, this was her first day as a pupil at Heriots, going into P7. She looked remarkably calm considering it was such a big occasion for her.

I remember changing schools at age10 and how strange everything seemed and how for a long time I wanted to go back to my old school with its familiar ways.

With the photography completed, it was time for breakfast and a spot of light housework before I meet up with my very talented friend for a spot of setting the world to rights.

This is Glasgow daughter's birthday, and so Happy Birthday Lucy!
