Going Into The Light

It was quite a dark day.  I got up in the dark for a start.  It's not even September and I need lights at 6 in the morning.  Rubbish.

We planned a little excursion tonight.  G wanted to organise some wine and it was a lovely chance to go for dinner with my German teacher pal.

And so we went to Kloster Eberbach.

Without doubt a must visit if you're ever in the area.  The Vinothek alone is worth a visit (but don't look at the price tags too closely).

We organised some wine, bought some for ourselves and then went for dinner in the restaurant (it was relatively early so we didn't need a reservation).

It was a great time, good food and lots of chat about all sorts of things.  And as you can see, the weather was lovely.
