Walk into Pezanas

For those of you suffering the wet weather in the UK here is a view of what the sky can look like without clouds.  It does come with some disadvantages though - its very hot and any exertion is challenging,  Also, it's often necessary to take shelter inside or in a shaded cafe with a cold beer or ice cream!

This morning a few of us went into Pezanas which is a protected medieval French town.  The alleyways are close together and full of artisan shops - all very pretty and interesting. We came across a silk shop with the most wonderful items for sale and we were able to watch the owner making some silk on the very old loom.- half a metre of silk is a day's work so you can see why it is so pricey.

Now back at the villa relaxing before going out for another concert.  This will be the fourth out of six and doesn't start until 9 pm so it's going to be a late night.  We know the venue hasn't advertised the concert at all so we are not expecting much of a crowd!
