This Face

Saturday.....I spent the morning working from home.  Sugar was a bit sad about it. She was looking forward to some "mama time".  We worked it out, and spent the afternoon together.  We went to a local festival, and had some yummy food, and giggles together.  

I'm so blessed this little one. She is going through a time where she is fighting the reading again...and it hurts her heart that I get disappointed about it.  I tend to worry that her reading struggles will only get worse, so I push her sometimes...and it makes her sad.  Then I'm sad.  So....after a bit of a sad bedtime read.....I just gathered her up, and read to her, and snuggled her to sleep.  It healed our hearts.
