Norwich Canoe Hire Company

I spotted this company on my lunchtime walk today. I thought it made a change to a photo of an old building - although I did have one of those up my sleeve for today too. I thought I'd decide which one to go with once I sat down to blip! The canoe people won!

Jon and I both got up together today and left at 7.15 - me heading to Norwich and Jon to Cambridge. He will be back Thursday.

I was glad to get out for some fresh air at lunchtime & avoiding the shops headed down to lay a ghost, by walking along the river path where I had spectacularly fallen over last month! That's when I spotted this company, offering canoes to hire at a not unreasonable cost. If you are a tourist, it certainly gives a different view of some of those key places by the river like Cow Tower and Pulls Ferry. They have regular Canadian canoes and also something I've never seen before; canoes you pedal! I proceeded to navigate the remainder of the path without incident!!

I left at 4ish and got home by 5.15. Henry had been busy cooking shortbread which was lovely, although he kindly left me the washing up. Mollie managed to gather in those hundreds of black boxers from the line when they had dried. Phew, at least it means Jon won't be going commando all week!

At 8 o'clock I took the dogs out for quite a long walk. It seems to have worn them out. Now I'm going to have a look back at some of my old poems and try to put them into groups.

And I'd like to be in bed by 10....no chance :-)
