Saturday was the annual Culture Night celebration in Reykjavik, with entry to the museums for free and lots of activities all over town. Unfortunately it rained and rained, and we only did a few of the things that we wanted to do - we went to the art museum, saw some artistic graffiti, visited an exhibition of the history of suffrage in Iceland and got some delicious free waffles with jam and cream. The centre of town was closed to traffic, so we took the (free) bus and had to walk a long way in the rain, and after a few hours and being very wet, decided to go home early. There was a free concert later and a fireworks show, but y that time we were warm and dry and at home. The flowers were in the gardens of the art museum, I was able to take the picture in the few minutes when it did not rain!
