Our town had its annual August flower festival this weekend. The town is divided into 3 sections, and each section has its own colour scheme - red and yellow, pink and green, and blue and orange. Ours is pink and green, and we used balloons and flags in those colours to decorate our fence. Some of the people were really creative, and it was fun walking though town and looking at all the efforts. The local ice cream factory also provided free ice cream in all kinds of strange flavours, we tasted all of them and I don't think I will want ice cream again for months.
