Woodland steps

A most enjoyable walk with Andy, Bruce, Chris and Martin from Hebden Bridge to Gibson Mill, then Heptonstall and back.  Several steep climbs all made use of old stone stairways in the woods.

In the last few weeks I have mentioned a project.  I can now reveal that I have been making a two minute film as an entry for a competition called "Well Done U" promoted by a weekly movie review programme on BBC Radio 5 Live, hosted by Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo. My entry - called "Two" - can be found on YouTube. I am reasonably pleased with it and especially grateful to my friend Andy who wrote and performed the music. It was a very interesting technical exercise and has encouraged me to try something a bit more ambitious next time. I am not wholly happy with the story or ending but would be pleased to hear what others think. I don't expect to win.
