Night Rains..

..went down the croft first thing and sowed some spinach (3 vars), and 12 rows of salads.. Wind was pretty strong, so no midges..

Did a big harvest this afternoon, and noted more deer damage, cabbage and kale now, and two cauliflowers have had the tops half eaten..

Was about to deliver and have my "Monday night session" while G goes to Pilates in Lochinver. A plea on facebook stopped that, a friend was asking for a lift back from Ullapool. He's been in hospital for four weeks, and was given 5 minutes notice that he could come home. A bus to Ullapool, well Gairloch really with a connecting minibus to Ullapool, still left him 50 miles from home.

So we delivered the veg, and I then drove G the 26 miles to Lochinver, to then retrace my journey 11 miles before progressing on to Ullapool (Landscape Artist and AFA know the logistics in this). I then had to repeat this for the return journey!!..

Not been able to see pictures all day, or get onto some other websites that I use for pricing veg..

A quick "out of the door" shot. In the rain. The black shadow is cased by my lens hood and flash. The rain is obvious, the streetlamps in the village less so..
