Osprey At Dawson Creek

I woke up to clearer skies this morning, and knew that I had to get out and see some birds.  I headed to Bethany Lake, but not much was going on.  I found some great photographic subjects though at the "community gardens", sunflowers and pumpkins and other vegetables! 

Then I headed to Dawson Creek and spotted a blue heron and an osprey, both atop the main tree near the library.  I had never seen an osprey there, so that was a nice treat!
