My wife said she was going to take me someplace that was offering a barbeque meal for Father's day. The weather had other ideas of course, so we went for some overpriced but acceptably-done dim-sum in a restuarant in town. We could see the Water of Leith from the restaurant windows, which the kids somehow found far more interesting than the food placed in front of them. Still, given my oft-stated comment that "Father's Day" is another made-up Hallmark day, it was a nice treat.

Earlier this morning I met this girl sheltering from the rain. She said she looked awful after a late night; I hope the preview I showed her indicated otherwise. Fabulous freckles!
