Goodbye...

I had another jolly good day at Sail Amsterdam! We watched a Fleet Review, who sailed by one of our royals, who was Fleet captain for today. Fabulous and interesting to see (see the extra photos). They'd sail by in groups of four or five, a canon was shot from the royal ship, the ones passing by would shout "ahoy, long live the admiral!".

Afterwards we went back to the tall ships who made preparations to leave. We spent quite some time watching the preparations of the ARC Gloria, from Colombia. In the end the sailors in yellow, red and blue shirts climbed the masts and thus made a fascination formation. That had to be today's blip.
