Happy Birthday!

Mum's birthday today and we have had a lovely day with sunshine and visitors - my middle sister and nieces. Texts, cards and presents - including one from Barcelona and another delivered by skateboard. These flowers were not a birthday present but were purchased yesterday in Southwell and putting them into their vase was one of the jobs to be done before the visitors arrived. That and icing the birthday cake, walking Bailey and cutting the grass. We have had a very warm day which broke with heavy rain late on this afternoon. And more of the same forecast for the rest of the week, I think. Hopefully it won't get in the way of the jobs that need to be done before term starts.
