At swim two birds

We had a long night with friends in front of the BBQ. The temp peaked at 27.5 in the early evening which is hot for the east Kent coast. Later I fell asleep in company. Oh dear.

Walking the next morning we saw the raven diving through the sky like a goth t-shirt print. Then a racing pigeon perched on the porch roof. We lowered water, nuts and muesli. I looked them up on internet and dry rice was recommended. This he/she ate avidly. She flew off but came back. And another racer joined the growing menagerie on the roof.
