Rainy day entertainment.

The weather has generally been terrible today. So much for 'summer'. We played inside and enjoyed a visit from Nain and Taid this morning and then made (and decorated and ate!) cakes. Ella was tired, and very hyper, after yesterday so had a nice long sleep whilst I started sewing her new trousers and hemming a new tablecloth. Not sure the rolled hem is right, but it's good enough. Walk to jump in the puddles with daddy whilst I made curry (traditional Sunday lunch...?)
Off to nanny and grandad's tomorrow. E is very excited. Hope she isn't awake with the birds because of it....!
