An unexpected day of warm sunshine - what a treat to enjoy temperatures of 24 degrees on The Firth of Forth!

My blip shows the iconic twin towers of the decommissioned Cockenzie Power Station . These chimneys that can be seen for miles around are now firmly on death row and their demolition takes place on 26th September.

Walking on the East Lothian sands and another visit to Dirleton Castle's horticultural borders under brilliant  blue skies did not disappoint.
