Battyeford Cut

We've just got back from spending time with good friends  -  all in all the perfect Sunday.  The temperatures here are high today, but unfortunately it's not a pleasant heat the atmosphere is humid and uncomfortable.

I mentioned yesterday that I'd noticed a different stretch of the canal that was unfamiliar to me, and as I knew we'd be out today I went down there first thing to have a better look and get a photo.  I have to say it was something of a disappointment, as although it's pleasant enough it's rather bland and I didn't find anything out of the ordinary to photograph.
