Transformation

Our back garden was cleared today.  Not on Monday, as planned.  The rickety, too large shed has gone; the wild tangles of greenery - gone; piles of rotting dead what-was-greenery - gone; crud - gone.  The plan now is to take a bit of time to really notice how the sun travels across the space, level the ground, install a new, smaller shed to store the bikes, and re-plant, re-stock the space with container plants and aromatics.

Buddha has been relocated from a dark corner opposite the kitchen door to a perch on the flat roof of next door's storage space.  We ate outside this evening and will breakfast outside tomorrow.  It still looks a bit grim but is definitely better than it was.  There is space to move.

I've got a week off work now so will catch up on Blip journals.
