Afternoon amongst the sunflowers

Spent a couple of sunny hours with chums from Sing with Pride at their summer get-together.  Shell and Stevie have an allotment at the back of their house which, in addition to having various vegetables growing, has a lovely crop of sunflowers.  Here we see Kay fiddling about with one of them for reasons best known to herself.

Gave the music festival a miss due to increasingly confusing messages being posted about what was happening when, what the capacity was (or wasn't) and just general chaotic nonsense. 

It's been a good weekend, and I have just one more week before I have a week off.
