holiday (day 8)

After lunch we walked from Beilngries to the Benedictine abbey at Plankstetten, and did some foraging for elderberries along the way.

Beilngries is 20 minutes north of here, in the Altmühltal area.

Nice weather, lovely countryside, light exercise. Oh, and the monks brew a excellent beer. Just coincidence, you understand.

Dr D now has 3 litres of elderberry juice. I'm now recovering from all the nettle stings.

The Blip is the clocktower at the Abbey. The extra is my reward for diving into the bushes to pick wild berries.
