Looking up the Spire...

...of St. Mary's Church, a very informative guide took us up to see the bells and up into the spire to look over the city. This was during an outing with the  Milton Keynes U3A (University of the Third Age) Advanced Photography Group to Lichfield today.  I've never been there before and it was only £6 return on the train (advance ticket), so good value.  The cathedral was fab (see extra photo)  There were seven of us and we all had an excellent day exploring this lovely historical city with our cameras.
