First Potato crop
A fine summer's day with a strong, warm breeze.
A friend of ours arrived today for a few day's visit. He has recently returned from China, having spend around 14 years teaching English as a Foreign Language. He has a fund of fascinating insights and we are looking forward to hearing them.
We went down to the seaside at Monifeith and had a walk/buggy ride along the seafront. It was lovely and breezy, which our friend loved.
Back home, Eleanor began to get the first crop of potatoes from one of many bags. Apparently, they are 'second earlies' of the Maris Peer variety. Dave, a great cook, will be using them - yum, yum.
