The Next Day. Wiv - Inverness

This was taken on the quay around 1am before we reluctantly called it a night and wandered home. We woke up more tired than hungover; I hadn't slept much since Wednesday and was certainly starting to feel it. I definitely got away with no sore head considering how much wine I drank last night! It was hard to believe that it all happened, and I already wanted to relive it all. We had another early start and again relied on the kindness of family and friends to help us clean the Legion. It took us hours to dismantle all our hard work and do all the washing up and ordering of all our things. We had a lovely lunch of all our leftovers (which I enjoyed much more than yesterday having not really eaten anything at the wedding), and felt so grateful to everyone for helping us. We finished around 4pm, said bye to my Mum and then had about an hour to look through some friend's photos that had started to appear on social media before having to run to get our train. It seemed we were now going on holiday!
We had a smooth journey to London and enough time to grab a quick dinner before getting on board our sleeper train. What a whirlwind few days.
