Dawning on the Dents du Midi.

Up at silly o'clock this morning with allergy eyes and nose. Looking out of the window there were stars in the sky so it seemed reasonable to sneak off to the Alpe des Chaux. A duvet jacket would have been useful as the dawn was later than I expected but definitely worth going to see even if the bise (the cold north wind in these parts) was ruffling the water surface a bit.
