The Gunmaker's Workshop

Next month the Set Subject at club is "Environmental Portrait". Rob lives just up the road, a delightful English chap who crafts guns from scratch and felt that he would make a great subject.

Popped up to see him this afternoon and spent a bit of time with him in his workshop, what an amazing place, full of so many different tools, metal, wood and reference material. And he knows exactly where everything is.
When I asked if I could do the photos, he immediately said he would need to have a tidy up, but very quickly said that was not what I wanted.

He also showed me a gun that he made for a client, I couldn't believe that he had hand crafted every part of it...a real craftsman.
