Old Father Thames

Went to visit a friend this evening, as she has kindly donated a box of stuff for a charity Autojumble stand I'm organising. She is lucky to live right by the river, with wonderful views out of her flat in two directions, across the water to Canary Wharf and over the London skyline to the other side.

I was mesmerised by the river view as dusk drew in, and I wonder how she ever manages to get anything done indoors with this outside the big floor-to-ceiling windows!
