Great Balls Of Fire

I have no idea what this thing actually is, but it intrigues me because the middle of it looks like a flaming sphere. This leads me onto an interesting train of thought about what flowers could potentially accomplish if they had a power source at their core, and were capable of movement and sentient action. Sadly, I'm too tired to share that vision at length, but it basically looks a lot like this. Except slightly more evil.
