Fraserburgh

On the North East corner of Aberdeenshire stands the old fishing town of Fraserburgh. The fleet is much depleted n0wadays with the fishing quotas. The small boats go out catching white fish just twelve days a month and can only catch their small quota - tossing back all the dead fish that is over the limit. The larger boats catch Herring and mackeral and make a profit from the seasons catch but even they have their problems too.
Fraserburgh has a superb Lighthouse museum well worth a visit.
