Soldier Boy

Today I took Justin to the allied Bivouacs at the Battle of Waterloo re enactments here in Waterloo.It happens every year on the weekend of the anniversary of the battle in 1815.
We have been here 3 years now and not visited before and Justin is a big History fan so it had to be done and SOON..
It was fun and interesting to see the realistic camp at the base of the Butte de Lion ,with the French camp being 4km away .
The Tents ,equipment and Costumes were amazingly authentic as was -the MUD.We have had lots of rain which has lead to realistic battle conditions too.
I took my camera hoping for a good Blip and there were lots of costumes ,but also so many people that getting a good shot was tricky .
