Well, it's David Torrance, innit? Unauthorised biographer of Salmond and Sturgeon. And maybe other stuff. He'd been to the same event I'd taken in - Iain Macwhirter blethering about his latest tome: Disunited Kingdom. But actually the star of the show was Richard Holloway who was the bletheree. Most amusing, he was, with a dry wit. I must look that up to see what differentiates that from a wet wit. A certain deadpan reserved style allied to a knack of making pithy acerbic observations, I'd say. But what do I know?
